Every blogger has a different eye for design, and that should be celebrated. However, a website evaluation is a critical component allowing readers to:
- be able to easily navigate your site,
- follow and promote your site,
- locate articles that will turn them from visitors into fans,
- and take the action YOU want to them to perform.
Site design is a fascinating field. If you don’t want to make it your field of study (taking you away from the things you really should be focusing on), I offer a website evaluation service.
We’ll look at your navigation, the critical “above-the-fold” area, sidebars, list-building efforts, and even a bit of SEO for your site!
The cost of this service is $45. The value of this service can mean more traffic, email subscribers, and even more brand opportunities!
Note: All of my consulting packages include a website evaluation.

The Need for a Website Evaluation
As mentioned above, site navigation is a large component of design, however, I would argue it’s not the most important. To me, converting viewers into fans is the primary goal. That doesn’t happen, however, if poor design forces the reader rely on a tag cloud or the search function.
How Does it Work?
Once you have booked the 30-minute appointment, I will invoice you and review your site. Once you have paid, I will send you a brief questionnaire. Note: I don’t believe any two blogs or bloggers are exactly alike, so I don’t believe in generic questionnaires. Everything I do is customized.
You will return the questionnaire before our call. During our call (either by phone or video chat), we will walk through your site together. I will explain my findings and provide you suggestions to help convert viewers to complete the call to action you want them to make.
